Open Source World 2009

OpenSource World focuses on innovative solutions in real-world environments using open source, open standards and open architecture as part of an integrated IT infrastructure. The OpenSource World conference will present the latest Linux and open source ideas in a technical context by industry experts and innovators, giving IT end-users actionable initiatives that bring cost savings to the enterprise. Topics include Deployment and Management, Enterprise Application Infrastructure, Mobile, Security, Desktops and Netbooks, and Systems Troubleshooting.

Open Source World has generously given us space to host FOSS Dev Camp on August 11th 2009 at the Moscone Center West.  FOSS Dev Camp at Open Source World is a free event but we do ask that you please register to give us a better idea of how many people to expect as well as what projects and topics attendees are interested in focusing on.

A welcome to FOSS Dev Camp with an explanation of the days events.

Lightning Sessions: Bugs and Feature Requests
An opportunity for attendees to make in person bug reports and feature requests. Each participant will be allowed a maximum of 5 minutes to present their request or issue.
10:00 - 12:00 pm
Coding Sessions
Attendees may break into smaller groups based on bugs report, features requested, common interests, etc. Groups are encouraged to neutral in terms applications or FLOSS project with the hopes that cross development will be possible.
